Church TrailThis is an exciting new project for our beautiful and historic church, which we have thoroughly enjoyed researching and devising with the help of NADFAS (National Decorative & Fine Arts Society).
A NADFAS Church Trail is a question and answer sheet that guides children and accompanying adults around a church and encourages them to engage with the architecture, history and artefacts of the building. By following this short questionnaire (an A4 two-sided sheet in a child-friendly design) they learn in a fun and informal way about their local church, the aim being to inspire 8-12 year olds in particular, and their families, to visit and enjoy not only this but other churches.
We feel that there is a wealth of information and history to be discovered in St Vincent’s, a unique and very special church.
