Caythorpe has a long association with Airborne Signals
who were billeted in the village before theArnhem operation in September 1944.
Sir William Robertson Academy, Leadenham, is delighted to be working with St Vincent's Church Caythorpe on a History project commemorating the events around Operation Market Garden and Arnhem in 1944. The project is designed to engage with all its pupils along with the wider community. The research findings and material will be displayed in the Church and on websites and will be shared with visitors, the Primary School, the local community and the SWRA school community.
